  1. As part of the Services available on our Platform, we offer Users the opportunity to participate in free to play fantasy sports contests for cash and other prizes (each a “Contest”).

  2. Before you enter any Contest on our Platform, it is important that you read these Game Rules, as well as the User Agreement [www.superpicks.com/terms-and-conditions] carefully, because they apply to each Contest that you enter through the Platform. By entering a Contest, you accept and agree to abide by these Game Rules in addition to the User Agreement and all other terms and conditions referred to in the User Agreement.

  3. Any defined terms that we use in these Game Rules will have the meaning given to them in the User Agreement or in the section of these Games Rules where it is defined (you can find these meanings by looking at the sentence where the defined term is included in brackets, bold font and speech marks).

  4. We may make changes to the Game Rules, including the fantasy points scoring system [www.superpicks.com/fantasy/points-system] from time to time. We will always try to give you advance notice of any upcoming changes to these Game Rules by posting the new version on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. However, this might not always be possible, for instance if the changes are required in order to comply with a change in law or regulations or in response to a complaint or claim from a third party. The updated Game Rules will take effect from the date specified in them, and they will be binding on you from the first time that you use the Platform after that date. The new rules will apply to all new Contests that you participate in, but they will not apply to any live Contests that you have already entered. It is your responsibility to check the Terms and Conditions regularly to take notice of any changes we make, and you agree to do so. If you do not agree with any changes or additions we make, do not continue using the Platform.

  1. There are currently two types of Contest available for Users to enter:

  2. Single Match Contests – This is a Contest that contains only a single match, such as a Contest for Arsenal vs Chelsea in the English Premier League. The duration of a Single Match Contest is from the start of the specified match until the completion of that match. Users must select a Team from the two (2) teams involved in the Single Match, abiding by the Team selection rules in Rule 3 of these Game Rules.

  3. Gameweek Contests – This is a Contest containing two or more matches, such as all of the matches on a particular Saturday in the English Premier League. The duration of a Gameweek Contest is from the start of the first specified match in the Gameweek until the completion of the final specified match in the Gameweek. Users must select a Team from the teams participating in the Gameweek Contest, abiding by the Team selection rules in Rule 3.

  4. Each Contest is free to play for a User, including Single Match and Gameweek Contests.

  5. The maximum number (if any) of Users that can enter each Contest is determined at our sole discretion and will be specified in the relevant Contest details. Some Contests may allow for an unlimited amount of Users to enter. You will not be able to enter a Contest if the maximum number of Users have already entered.

  6. Unless otherwise specified in the relevant Contest details, each User will only permitted to enter each Contest once.

  1. In order to enter a Contest, you must first select the Contest you want to enter. You must then select the required number of players from a list of real-life players who will be participating in the match(es) that are relevant to the Contest (your “Team”).

  2. We assign each player eligible for selection in a Contest with a credit value. The credit value of a player represents the cost of including that player in your Team. For each contest, you will have a total budget of 100 credits and the combined credit value of the players on your Team cannot exceed your credit budget.

  3. For all football (soccer) Contests, you must meet the following requirements to enter an eligible Team:

  4. you must select 11 players and their combined credit value must not exceed the 100-credit budget;

  5. the 11 players must be organised as follows:

|Player Type|Min|Max| | :- | :-: | :-: | |Goalkeeper (GK)|1|1| |Defender (DEF)|3|5| |Midfielder (MID)|3|5| |Forward (FOR)|1|3|

  1. from your Team, you must nominate a captain (who will earn 2x the points they would otherwise earn) and a vice-captain (who earn 1.5x the points they would otherwise earn).

  2. In addition to the requirements in Rule 3.3, the following requirements apply depending on the Contest format:

    1. Single Match Contests – Users may only pick a maximum of seven (7) players from the same team. For example, if the Contest related to Arsenal vs Chelsea in the English Premier League, a User could select a maximum of seven (7) players from Arsenal and a minimum of four (4) from Chelsea (or vice versa).

    2. Gameweek Contest with exactly two (2) matches – Users can pick a maximum of five (5) players from one team. Users do not need to select a player from every team in the Contest.

    3. Gameweek Contest with more than two (2) matches – Users can pick a maximum of three (3) players from one team. Users do not need to select a player from every team in the Contest.

  3. You must select a Team that meets the requirements in this Rule 3 before the Contest start time. You can edit your Team as many times as you like by changing the players selected until the Contest start time, which will be specified in the Contest details.

  4. You will not be able to view the Teams that any other Users have selected before the Contest start time.

  1. The start time of the Contest will be the scheduled start time of the first match to take place in the Contest. Where the actual match start time is before the Contest start time:

  2. we reserve the right to adjust the Contest start time by up to a maximum of 10 minutes following the actual match start time; or

  3. where the actual match start time is more than 10 minutes before the Contest start time, we reserve the right to abandon the Contest.

  4. Where the actual match start time is after the Contest start time, we reserve the right to extend the Contest start time or abandon the Contest based on the circumstances, including, but not limited to, delayed toss, interruption on account of weather, non-appearance of teams and/or technical/floodlighting/equipment/safety glitches causing delays.

  1. Your Team will earn points in a Contest based on the performance of your selected players. The number of points players earn will be determined by us in accordance with the Fantasy Points Scoring System, the current version of which is available at www.superpicks.com/fantasy/points-system. We may update the Fantasy Points Scoring System from time to time at our discretion in accordance with Rule 1.4.

  2. We may obtain the score feed and other information required for the computation and tabulation of points from third party service provider(s) and/or the official website of the match organiser. In the rare event that any error in the computation or tabulation of points, selection of winners or the abandonment of a Contest as a result of inaccuracies in or incompleteness of the feed provided by the third-party service provider and/or official website of the match organiser comes to our attention, we shall use all reasonable endeavours to rectify such error before we distribute any prizes.

  3. You understand that we rely on the accuracy and completeness of such third-party score/statistic feeds and do not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy thereof and, in any event, shall take no responsibility for inaccuracies in computation and tabulation of points or the selection of winners as a result of any inaccurate or incomplete scores/statistics received from such third-party service provider. You agree not to make any claim or raise any complaint against us in this respect.

  1. The details of each Contest will specify the number and value of prizes that will be awarded to the winners of the Contest (for instance some Contests will offer a first prize, second prize, third prize etc.). Unless otherwise specified in the Contest details, the winners will be the Users whose Teams accrued the highest aggregate score across the whole of the Contest, the second prize winners will be the Users whose Teams scored the second highest aggregate scores, etc. We will determine the exact prize structure for each Contest before it starts, and Users can check the prize structure in the relevant Contest details before they enter the Contest.

  2. Where the prize is cash and two or more Users are tied for a specific ranking, a ‘dead heat’ will apply, and the cash prizes will be split equally between the tied Users. For instance: if two Users are tied for first place, they will each receive an equal share of the sum of the first and second prize (i.e. if first place prize is GHC 6,000 and second place prize is GHC 4,000, the two Users will each receive GHC 5,000 and the next highest ranking player will receive the third place prize (or no prize, if there is no third place prize)); if two Users are tied for third place, and there is no fourth place prize, the two Users will each receive an equal share of the third place prize (i.e. if the third place prize is GHC 200, the two Users will each receive GHC 100 each).

  3. For non-cash prizes (such as products or experiences), where two or more Users are tied for a specific ranking, the winner will be the User whose Team had the lowest combined credit value. If this is also tied, the winner will be the User that finalised their entry for the Contest first. A User’s Team is finalised when no further edits are made to it in accordance with Rule 3.5. Where the number of Users that participate in a Contest means that some allocated prize rankings do not have a winner, there will be no Users that win the prizes associated with those rankings (for instance, if there are first, second and third place prizes available but only two Users enter the Contest, no User will win the 3rd prize).

  4. Prizes will only be awarded if a Contest is run. We reserve the right to cancel Contests at any time.

  5. You will not be eligible to win a prize and we may disqualify you from the Contest if (a) we reasonably believe you have been creating Teams on behalf of any other User (b) you have not selected a Team that meets the requirements of Rule 3 before the Contest start time (c) you do not meet, or you cease to meet, the eligibility criteria specified in the User Agreement or (d) you have breached any of the Terms and Conditions.

  6. Winners will be responsible for paying all taxes or other charges or levies payable in respect of prizes that they win, including but not limited to, income tax, gift tax, etc.

  7. With your consent, personal data for winners may be shared publicly on the Platform or other outlets, for the purposes of publicising the winner(s) of the draws, including names, photographs, and videos. Any prizes that consist of tangible products will be delivered to the address that is agreed during email correspondence. Should the prize be unavailable, a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted. You are not entitled to a cash alternative and prizes are non-transferable and cannot be resold by the prize winner. We reserve the right to substitute an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

  8. If the prize involves an experience or tickets to an event, you must comply at all times with the applicable policies, procedures and terms and conditions of any relevant third party when attending the experience (e.g., ticket terms and conditions, general terms of admissions, dress codes, alcohol consumption restrictions, etc.). We may remove any prize winner from an experience if they are in breach of any of these policies, procedures and/or terms and conditions or are otherwise acting in an inappropriate manner. Prize winners will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from any experience and/or event, including obtaining any travel visas they may require, and for obtaining any applicable travel (or other) insurance. All costs and expenses not included within the prizes are the responsibility of the winner(s).
